We are actively investing in our residential portfolio to provide more placements for our children. We are existing to be recruiting for a Registered Manager with strong leadership and childcare experience to lead our team in our new residential home, Trinity House.

This is a unique opportunity to join and set up a specialist long-stay home where children with learning disabilities will thrive in a nurturing, person-centred environment. As our new Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of Trinity House. You will champion the best interests of young people, lead child-centred practice, and ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed.

The role requires strong resource management and effective leadership, as well as active contribution to the wider Children’s Residential Services management team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and collaborative service.

Our existing residential homes were rated Good by Ofsted, a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment shown by our teams.

About Trinity House

Trinity is a brand new service due to open in February 2026. Trinity will provide tailored residential support to up to 4 children with a range of learning disabilities. Our caring and inclusive environment promotes emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence in every child we care for. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must have the correct right-to-work in the UK documents. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship.

About you:

* Be knowledgeable and prepared to adopt best practice to ensure our young people experience the very best opportunities.
* Ability to reflect on experiences, both good and bad, and be able to communicate how this has shaped your practice and ensured effective safeguarding.
* Ability to demonstrate and convince us why you are the right leader for our new home.
* Proven experience managing a children’s home or similar residential service.
* Strong leadership skills as you will be managing a team of dedicated and hardworking Residential staff.
* Excellent communication skills as you will be engaging with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
* Be passionate about good quality care and enjoy being part of a team where everyone contributes and celebrates success.
* Ability to manage budgets, resources, and performance data
* Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Ability to work flexibly, including participation in an “on-call” rota.
