Manufacturing Recruitment Manager Internal Only Application Deadline: 6 May 2024 Department: Manufacturing Recruitment Employment Type: Full Time Location: Poole - Nuffield Industrial Estate Compensation: £38,500 - £46,000 / year Description We are looking for an individual who is passionate about people, enjoys a challenge and is keen to self develop and maintain excellent standards across internal and external Manufacturing recruitment. You will lead a team and coordinate the yearly seasonal recruitment campaign alongside facilitating internal job opportunities. You will have an eye for recognising talent and supporting staff to reach their dreams Our seasonal campaign starts from May/June, recruiting across all parts of the production departments within our Manufacturing business. Each department has different hire needs - ie different shift patterns, fulltime and part time. We look to employ approx 500 - 600 staff each year of which you will work closely with each department on their requirements alongside supporting retention. We are so proud of internal progression and you would work on initiatives and programmes supporting this process capturing everyone within Manufacturing to help them fulfil their dreams and aspirations. The role sits within the Manufacturing team, so you will collaborate and work closely with the Manufacturing leadership, planning and coordinating the recruitment campaign needs Regular responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Be responsible and lead the team with every aspect of their roles as a recruitment assistant Creating job adverts for seasonal roles Ensuring we have the applicants for roles Local PR - attending Job Fairs, Career events Working closely with the local job centres - pop up open days Networking with other local businesses Looking at market pay rates - Are we competitive in local area Looking at incentives, benefits to attract local talent Looking at shift patterns and liaising with Department managers Managing all legal requirements of new starters - ie right to work, contracts etc Internal PR - spreading the word amongst our own staff about seasonal roles Agency relationships and negotiations - coordinating requirements Factory open days Advertising - radio, billboards etc Coordinating our work experience programme, Liaising with wider talent teams across Lush Creating internal job adverts Facilitating internal interviews Talent spotting/career development opportunities Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Excellent communication skills A natural negotiator with the ability to influence and challenge Solution focused with a positive attitude Great presentation skills Flexible working hours - you will be expected to work at out of working hour events Experience with organising events Great time management and able to react to demands Adaptable and able to juggle a variety of tasks all at the same time Someone who can easily build relationships at all levels Understanding the skills and, competencies and experiences necessary for each role Brand Ambassador Excellent knowledge of the Lush business Recruitment experience
