Job Title: Technical Project Leader – Powertrain
Location: West Midlands

As a Technical Project Leader within the Powertrain Technical Delivery function, you will act as the primary point of contact for one or more vehicle programmes.
In this role, you will support the Technical Delivery Manager in managing all Powertrain content for the assigned programme. You will be responsible for identifying and managing risks early, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring delivery remains on track in line with programme timing and cost targets.
Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to proactively identify, manage, and escalate emerging Powertrain risks throughout the vehicle development lifecycle
2. Enable Programme teams to make high-quality, informed decisions through clear communication, structured analysis, and effective stakeholder engagement
3. Ensure technical, timing, and cost assumptions for Powertrain commodities remain aligned across Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and supplier teams
4. Monitor programme spend and work collaboratively with Engineering and Finance teams to ensure sufficient funding remains available to complete required activities
