Behaviour Support Mentors - Sheffield Based Schools
We are seeking two flexible and motivated SEND Teaching Assistants for our Sheffield Primary Schools. The role involves supporting children with special educational needs, particularly those with communication and behaviour challenges.
You will work under the guidance of the Class Teacher and Senior Leaders to provide exceptional support to students with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and Speech and Language Barriers.
Experience with interventions such as PECS or Makaton, or supporting students with SEND in an educational setting, would be advantageous.
Key qualities include a commitment to teamwork, effective communication skills, adaptability in learning tasks, and a willingness to engage in professional development.
