We’re looking for a Head of Marketing and Brand to play a key role in our technology transformation by leading and driving our marketing, brand, and transformation communication strategy externally, while maintaining and delivering our Kinder Banking purpose and communications. Across brand, PR, digital marketing, SEO, paid media, website, acquisition, content, social media, and B2B marketing teams, you’ll oversee delivery on objectives and future strategy, maintaining a high performing team. Through our Purpose strategy, you’ll build our brand awareness and positive reputational management for the Cumberland, managing risk around reputation and communications to ensure good outcomes for the business and our customers. You’ll drive ‘top of funnel’ leads and support acquisition across lending and savings products as well as managing all external messaging across the brand and marketing customer touchpoints. You’ll also: Support our digital transformation in strategic projects, customer journeys, brand and marketing strategy, external communications and PR messaging. Deliver meaningful MI and reporting on marketing effectiveness, including media, PR, brand, social media and digital. Building our ‘Kinder Banking’ brand through content and marketing campaigns that deliver on our purpose and 3 pillars. Collaborate cross functionally to create, develop and deliver effective communications and messaging through our brief and budget model. Collaborate with agencies to ensure delivery of core strategy and plans on time and in budget. Create and implement a community giving strategy, including managing partnerships. Lead with support from teams on crisis communications and incident management. About You You’ll have significant and demonstrable experience leading a medium to large size marketing team, preferably within a financial services environment, leading through a large-scale technology transformation. We’d like to see multichannel marketing and brand experience with a strong understanding of customer centric communications, building loyal customers. We’d also like to see: Proven experience in strategy and agency management. Experience of reporting on effectiveness of marketing, digital, PR and campaigns. Demonstrable awareness and appreciation of current industry trends, issues and ability to identify implications and opportunities. Lead data driven marketing initiatives to ensure quality and impact. Skilled in project management, adaptable and insights driven. Experience working in B2C and B2B Marketing. External crisis communication experience including managing media and all forms of communication. Skills, abilities and behaviours: Senior leadership and influencing skills, strong people leadership skills, coaching and management skills Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Deep understanding of brand strategy and purpose development to ensure customer engagement and build loyalty. Lead with empathy and kindness reflecting core Cumberland values. Possesses a deep understanding of the marketing regulatory environment.
