This position offers variety, autonomy and exposure to a wide range of business activities. In addition to chauffeuring duties, the role includes oversight of the company’s small fleet of vehicles (cars and vans), together with occasional administrative responsibilities based at the group’s offices, such as assisting with meeting logistics and welcoming visitors. Errand-running to be expected; ability to drive and reverse a trailer required. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, punctual, and confidential chauffeur services for company directors and guests. Plan routes and travel schedules using strong regional knowledge and effective use of navigation technology Maintain company vehicles in excellent condition, coordinating servicing, MOTs, and repairs as required Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and maintenance Support administrative tasks at company premises (e.g., scheduling, meeting preparation, guest reception) Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times Demonstrate discretion, reliability, and patience, often working with minimal notice Key Requirements Previous experience as a professional chauffeur or driver for business leaders or private households Full, clean UK driving licence Evidence of formal driver training (e.g., RoSPA, IAM, or equivalent certification). Where not already obtained, training must be completed before commencing employment Excellent driving awareness, route planning skills, and comfort with unpredictable schedules. Calm and courteous under pressure, with impeccable personal presentation Strong organisational and communication skills Willingness to work uneven or changing hours, including evenings and weekends Working Hours and Pay Guaranteed 40 hours over a 7-day week Driving: £20/hour within 08:00–18:00 Monday to Friday; £30/hour at all other times Waiting: £10/hour (daytime weekday) or £15/hour (out-of-hours/weekends) Office/administrative tasks: £15/hour during office hours
