£50,000 - £55,000 + 12% Bonus + 16% Pension + 7 x Life Assurance + Hybrid
An excellent opportunity is available for a Project Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer known for exceptional staff retention, long-term career development and their investment in engineering and innovation.
As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept through to launch, playing a key role in how new products reach global markets.
An ideal applicant will have a proven track record in project management and a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle. We can consider any industry experience, including manufacturing, CAPEX, product development, armed forces, REME, public sector, or similar.
The Role
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, suited to someone who enjoys coordinating multiple disciplines and leading projects concurrently.
The company can offer complete industry training, meaning you don’t need a background in engineering or anything technical to apply for this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end projects focused on bringing new and developed products to market
* Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules and resource models
* Coordinate engineering, product management, manufacturing, procurement, quality and suppliers
* Control costs, timelines, risks and deliverables
* Identify, manage and mitigate technical, commercial and supply-chain risks
Who we’re looking for
You will be an experienced Project or Programme Manager experienced with cradle to grave project delivery.
Industry wise we are open, but the following should act as a good guidance:
* Consumer Goods, Automotive, Electronics, Robotics, FMCG, Industrial Equipment, Medical Devices, CAPEX delivery, Armed Forces, Public Sector, Product Development or similar.
You’ll bring:
* Proven experience in delivering projects from cradle to grave
* Excellent planning, risk management and stakeholder coordination skills
* A passion for project management and a willingness to learn
* A background in marketing, business management and / or engineering is desirable but not essential
