Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and will play a role in delivering an exciting, energetic and age appropriate schedule of fun activities for a group of Children aged 5-11 years at our Esher scheme. This includes things such as messy play, baking, art and crafts, themed days and occasional outings, etc.
The role will be both challenging and rewarding and you must enjoy working with others in a busy, sociable and hands-on environment. You will assist with preparing and delivering the sessions within a safe and caring environment and working within the framework of the charities policies and procedures. You will support the children with personal care, moving and handling and developing their communication skills and ensure the safeguarding of the vulnerable young people in our care.
No previous experience is required however you may be studying or have an interest in studying childcare, education, psychology or healthcare and be looking for practical experience.

* You must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact well with both children and your team members.

We are also recruiting for Saturday Play Workers in Woking and may have vacancies in the school holidays.
Free Training
We have a comprehensive e-learning programme offering up to 20 courses for you to develop skills and enhance your CV, including Induction, Safeguarding, Disability Awareness and First Aid training courses.
Successful candidates will need to attend some training in Woking.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory Enhanced DBS (we arrange) and references
