I have complex health and care needs, including some clinical tasks, so I need confident, competent support workers who communicate well and can use my equipment safely. Youll support me with all aspects of daily living, such as personal care, food preparation, medication, moving and handling, transfers, and my Mitrofanoff catheter. Even though I need a high level of support, maintaining my independence and having control over my care is very important to me. Youll be guided by my person-centred support plan and welcomed into an established team, so its important that you are friendly, adaptable, and able to learn my routines and preferences with initiative and care.
