Cover Supervisor – Leicester
Pay: £100 - £120 per day
Location: Leicester and surrounding areas

GSL Education is looking for confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a number of secondary schools across Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and gaining valuable classroom experience.
We have a high demand for daily supply, short-term cover, and long-term roles across KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking for flexible work in education.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young people (in school or other settings)
* Excellent spoken and written English – essential for clear communication and effective classroom delivery
* Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
* A passion for education and helping students succeed
* A valid Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher
* Deliver pre-set work and maintain good classroom behaviour
* Provide support to students and ensure learning continues in the teacher’s absence
* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
