Legal Technologist
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
About the role:
We’re proud to be working with a leading and award-winning UK law firm that’s growing its technology innovation team, and they're seeking a Legal Technologist to bridge the gap between legal technology and client service delivery.
The role is focused on driving innovation through the adoption of new technology and AI tools, driving process improvement with automation. You’d be collaborating closely with solicitors and clients to implement new technologies like GenAI, no-code platforms, and document analytics.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluating and onboarding emerging legal tech tools including AI-assisted drafting, document automation, contract analysis, matter management.
* Implementing integrations between platforms such as document management systems, practice management systems, and client-facing portals.
* Working with vendors to assess technical fit, API capability, and integration potential before procurement decisions are made.
* Translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders such as lawyers, clients, and legal operations.
* Contributing to the firm's AI strategy by identifying, testing, and implementing practical use cases across practice groups.
Requirements:
* Background in a legal technology or legal operations, with direct experience in working with lawyers and/or clients on technology adoption.
* Familiarity with legal software solutions such as document management, practice management, case management, document automation, or client portal tools.
* Understanding of AI tools and APIs and their practical application in a legal services context.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps)
* Ability to work autonomously on technical projects while managing stakeholder relationships effectively
