KPMGs Indirect Tax practice is among the UKs leading teams, providing advice and support across all indirect taxes like VAT, Customs Duty, and Green taxes to sectors including multinationals, retailers, public sector, and financial services.
The practice is fast-growing, with about 13 partners and 190 staff nationwide. We support clients with various indirect tax issues, including specialists in Retail, Supply Chain, International Trade, Public Sector, and Financial Services. We collaborate closely with Trade & Customs, Corporate, and Employment tax teams.
The role is within the Financial Services (FS) Indirect Tax team, serving clients like investment banks, insurers, asset managers, and fintechs, providing VAT and Insurance Premium Tax services. We undertake compliance and advisory services, building deep knowledge of client activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Providing high-quality indirect advisory and compliance services to FS clients
* Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
* Developing innovative solutions and opportunities for clients
* Supporting business development initiatives
* Building and maintaining key B2B and B2C client relationships
* Mentoring junior team members
* Working closely with directors and partners for support and growth opportunities
Qualifications and Skills
* ACA, CTA, or qualified Solicitor with significant relevant experience in Indirect Taxes
