* Venepuncture and recording of vital signs
* Post operative wound care and leg ulcer management
* Routine injections and immunisations to include child vaccinations
* Contraceptive advice/pill checks
* Cervical Cytology
* Health promotion and guidance to patients

Lakeside St Neots is in a lovely town location with around 23,000 patients. We are a diverse and dynamic team of GPs, Pharmacists, Physios, Social Prescribers, PracticeNurses, Health Care Assistants, Nursing Associates, Emergency Care Practitioners and ANPs.
Job responsibilities
The purpose of the post is to deliver safe, high quality primary care nursing services to the practice population. Working within the NMC Code of Conduct and professional boundaries, the post holder will deliver primary health care interventions and care. The post holder will support service development, the safe delivery of policy and procedures, and demonstrate effective professional nurse standards, advocacy and performance.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Primary Care Nursing qualification
* Accredited Diploma Level Award in chronic disease management
Experience
* Willingness to undertake training and education to achieve core skills and experience required of a Practice Nurse
* Experience of managing/dealing with the public/patients
* Experience of working within healthcare governance systems and understands role and responsibilities for CQC and within risk management
* Experience of using clinical systems & Microsoft Office software
* Experience in Primary or Community Care Nursing
* Management of long term conditions
* Involvement in implementing and using protocols and clinical guidelines
* Experience of audit and/or research
* Experience of SystmOne
