Solution Architect – Finance

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong finance background to lead enterprise‑level design discussions and drive innovative solutions across Finance, HR, and Procurement domains. This role will have a significant impact on shaping the architecture strategy for a leading organization in the finance sector, leveraging cutting‑edge technologies and best‑in‑class industry standards.
You will play a key role in solution ideation, design, and implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT standards. This is an exciting opportunity to influence architectural decisions, develop departmental roadmaps, and work on high‑profile projects that transform business requirements into robust IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead enterprise‑level design discussions as a Finance Architect.
* Drive solution ideation, design, and implementation across Finance, HR, and Procurement.
* Develop and maintain a solutions architecture program and departmental roadmaps.
* Review and validate enterprise architecture changes against industry best practices.
* Recommend solutions, upgrades, or replacements to optimize usability and TCO.
* Communicate architecture strategies to stakeholders and collaborate with domain architects.
* Champion structured approaches to business application solutions.
* Ensure solutions align with technology standards and influence changes when necessary.
* Support architectural aspects of application projects across IT portfolios.
* Proven experience in enterprise design involving Finance and People systems.
* Strong understanding of integration and hosting services (cloud‑native – AWS preferred, microservices, APIs, events, canonical data models).
* Solid grasp of architecture best practices.
* Ability to transform business requirements into IT solutions.
* Knowledge of ERP systems (Unit4 ERP, SAP, Oracle) and integration with Ivalua.
* Oracle/SAP finance cloud certification.
* Exposure to HR systems and procurement platforms (Ivalua, Ariba or similar).
