Management Accountant
Salary: in the region of £50,000.00 per annum (depending on experience) plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: FTC until October 2026

What you'll be doing:
* Provide leadership in all aspects of financial reporting and financial control for our Hampshire region.
* Work closely with operational management to deliver accurate financial information.
* Production and analysis of monthly management accounts.
* Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and review of account certifications for direct reports to ensure audit readiness.
* Preparation of forecasts, budgets and long‑term plan in conjunction with the General Manager and Financial Controller.
* Statutory accounts preparation and liaison with Group auditors.
* Control and reporting of capital expenditure.
* Financial analysis of operational data and KPI.
* Post investment financial review and analysis of long‑term financial performance.
* Working with clients on contract performance and adapting to any changes in service.
What we're looking for:
* A fully qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with previous relevant experience.
* Previous experience business partnering preferable.
* Good working knowledge of spreadsheets.
* Broad system skills preferably with working knowledge of Workday and SAP.
* Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills.
* Strategic planning and leadership skills.
