The role
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the store. You'll play a key role in driving sales, leading the team, and ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of service. You'll also step up as the senior point of contact when the Store Manager is absent.
Key responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, occupancy goals and other KPIs
* Coach and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service
* Recruit, train, schedule and supervise sales associates
* Monitor store performance and implement improvement plans where needed
* Ensure the store is run safely, compliantly and in line with company procedures
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
What we're looking for
* Previous experience at Assistant Store Manager level, or equivalent experience in sales or customer service with a big advantage given to industry experience
* Telesales experience is desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Self‑motivated with the ability to take ownership
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Must live within a 30‑minute commute of the store
