Job Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and enthusiastic childcare Modern Apprentice to join our busy environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment. At leaps and Bounds you will have the opportunity to undertake training whilst learning on the job. As a Modern Apprentice you will work closely with children aged; 12 weeks to 5 years, you will assist qualified staff in providing high-quality care and education for children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their childcare journey.
The Successful candidate will work full time in the nursery Monday - Friday, 40 hrs per week and undertake training from MI Technologies who is our training provider, this qualification will allow you to work towards your SVQ Level 3.
Duties
* Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
* Support the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to senior practitioners.
* Help manage the nursery's resources and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the setting.
* Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development.
* Be a positive role model to our young children.
* Drive initiatives that promote leadership within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
* A keen interest in early childhood education and experience working with children is desirable.
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written is essential.
* Ability to manage tasks effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development within the childcare sector.
* Professional attitude and confidence is required in the delivery of working with our families.
