Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering Location: Sheffield Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (DOE) Package A leading civile engineering contractor in Sheffield is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth across their national project portfolio. This is a great opportunity to join a specialist team delivering ground investigation, remediation, and geotechnical services for a wide range of infrastructure, construction, and energy clients. You'll play a key role in the commercial management of complex ground engineering projects from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities: Commercial management of geotechnical and ground investigation contracts (NEC3/NEC4). Preparing and reviewing tender documentation and contract variations. Monitoring project costs and budgets, ensuring profitability and value for money. Managing subcontracts and liaising with site teams and clients. Supporting bid teams with cost planning and risk assessments. About You: Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within civils or geotechnical environments. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Comfortable working independently and as part of a technical delivery team.
