About the Role
• Teaching DT across KS3–KS4, with potential KS5 delivery based on experience
• Delivering engaging practical lessons and clear theoretical instruction
• Supporting students with coursework, prototypes, models and design portfolios
• Promoting innovation, sustainability and problem-solving in the design process
• Contributing to STEM enrichment, clubs, competitions and whole-school initiatives
• Ensuring excellent workshop safety, risk assessment and equipment management
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in DT, Engineering, Product Design or similar
• PGCE with QTS
• Strong technical and practical ability
• Confidence in using CAD/CAM technologies
