Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Product Manager, based with our Digital Services team in Birmingham.
As a Product Manager, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team, responsible for helping to define and execute the product strategy from ideation through to delivery. You will work closely with a "product trio" and a wider delivery squad to ensure that we are building the right solutions for our customers while having a direct impact on our business goals.

What you will be doing
* Impact Business Goals: Work with stakeholders and leadership to align product direction with key business objectives. Your decisions will be guided by the desire to solve customer pains and drive demonstrable value.
* Discovery & Ideation: Lead discovery activities, including goal setting, user research, and competitor analysis. Use techniques like opportunity solution trees and double diamonds to deeply understand problems and clearly articulate them to your team and the broader company.
* Delivery & Execution: Collaborate daily with a product trio (Product Designer and Technical Lead) and a delivery squad. You will be responsible for managing a backlog, prioritising work based on value and effort, and working with the team to break down solutions into minimal releasable products.
* Evangelise Product Practices: Actively participate in the wider product community. You'll be expected to share your insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a shared understanding of product operations and a product-led culture across the business.
* Communication: Be the voice of your product area. You will be expected to transparently communicate the team's progress, upcoming work, and the product's vision to wider
You will ideally have
* Experience: We're looking for someone with a foundational understanding of product management principles. Experience with agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) is a plus.
* A Curious Mindset: You are not a "yes person." We value a person who is not afraid to challenge assumptions and has a deep curiosity about our users and our business.
* Collaboration: You can blend with a wide variety of personalities and work cohesively with a team. You understand that our success is a collective effort, and there is no "blame game."
* Problem-Solving: Ability to apply problem-solving techniques like user story mapping to break down complex challenges into manageable, high-value solutions.
