What you will be doing
The role of the Nursing Associate is to work under the supervision and work in partnership the hospital’s Practice Nurse providing and delivering a high standard of nursing care, contributing to the ongoing assessment, providing and monitoring care based on evidence and working in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team.
The role will be working collaboratively with the Practice Nurse to ensure the physical health care needs are met for all patients. This will include supporting with a number of physical health clinics providing advice and support for teams in the ongoing management of physical health issues.
About the location:
The combination of 2 psychiatric intensive care wards and 9 medium and low secure units as-well as some rehabilitation flats at Thornford Park provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering our 129 patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.
