Job Title: SEND Teacher
Partnering with a SEND provision based in north Essex, this role focuses on supporting young people with additional needs within a varied curriculum that emphasises social, emotional and personal development. The culture is patient, inclusive and aimed at helping children with disabilities achieve their full potential while promoting independence.
Responsibilities
The successful SEND Teacher will be employed on a permanent, full-time basis from September and will work directly with students across all Key Stages, aged approximately 5 to 19 years. You will support students who are diagnosed with Autism/ASD, Learning Difficulties/LD, ADHD/ADD, and other related needs, including through therapeutic practices.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering lessons that cater to diverse needs within ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD profiles
* Supporting children through therapeutic practices within their learning
* Contributing to an innovative and varied curriculum
Qualifications
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD
