Job Overview
The district nursing service is fundamental in the delivery of the health board’s clinical futures model in providing care closer to home, enabling early discharge and preventing hospital admissions. We deliver holistic care to patients within their own homes and residential homes, meeting the increasing complexities in health of our patient population. Assessment, planning and delivering high standards of care are achieved through effective collaboration and partnership working within our health and social care integrated centre at Newbridge.
Main duties of the job
To care for patients and their families within their own homes is a privilege and the Newbridge district nursing team has an exciting opportunity for a community staff nurse to join a 24/7 service. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and interpersonal skills with continuing professional development opportunities to prepare you with the skills to meet the evolving autonomous role of the community nurse through a robust induction programme. Salary
The 2026/27 Agenda for Change Pay Award is effective from 1st April 2026. Successful applicants with a start date from 1st April onwards will receive a salary as per the 2026/27 pay award.
