We are looking for a Housekeeping Lead to join our team at our Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet.

37.5 hours a week, working between 1 am and 6 pm. Work includes Monday to Sunday, so some weekend work is required.

Main duties of the job
As an essential part of our friendly and compassionate team, supported by our experienced Operations Manager, you will help provide clean and comfortable surroundings to ensure a high-quality experience for our patients.
Your responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, including NHS National Cleaning Standards.
* Maintaining an accurate stock system, including receiving and checking goods in/out.
* Managing financial policies related to ordering and stock control, including raising purchase orders and validating invoices.
* Completing statutory and other monitoring procedures as required.
* Supervising housekeepers and ensuring staff adherence to company policies and procedures.

* Previous management experience in a housekeeping department.
* Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
* Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, and follow instructions from colleagues.
