Band 3 Radiotherapy Bookings Assistant post.
We have a vacancy for a Band 3 Radiotherapy Bookings Assistant within the Radiotherapy Department of the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre provides an integrated cancer management and treatment service for patients from the West of Scotland and beyond. Facilities are situated in the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and the Tom Wheldon Building on the Gartnavel Hospitals site and at the Lanarkshire Beatson satellite centre on the Monklands District Hospital site. Approximately 7500 courses of radiotherapy are provided annually requiring over 100,000 patient attendances. The Radiotherapy Department is equipped with some of the most up-to-date facilities currently available and deals with over 500 patients per day.
The Band 3 Radiotherapy Bookings Assistant provides clerical and clinical/administrative support to medical and radiography staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team while undertaking various duties within the Booking Office of the radiotherapy department. Key tasks required include patient information and communication as well as clerical and administrative tasks directly involved with the radiotherapy booking process using the departmental booking system, ARIA.
