As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a hands-on, part-qualified Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations and support strategic decision-making.
Job Description
Position: Finance Manager
1. Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
2. Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
3. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including cash flow monitoring
4. Maintain accurate financial records and assist in improving internal controls
5. Manage fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
6. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of general ledger postings
7. Liaise with auditors and support the preparation of year-end accounts
8. Monitor stock movements and contribute to stock valuation processes
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate should have:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Solid understanding of management accounts, cost accounting, and standard costing
* Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle)
* Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
