Payroll Professionals – We Need You\n\nPosition: Interim PAYE Payroll Assistant\nLocation: Wembley Head Office\nContract: 6-month FTC (with strong potential to extend)\nWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nCapital Outsourcing Group’s client is on the lookout for a highly experienced PAYE Payroll Assistant to step in and hit the ground running while they roll out a brand-new payroll and reporting system (I-Trent). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy payroll function at a key time of transformation.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nYou’ll be a vital part of the payroll team, ensuring everything runs smoothly during this implementation phase. Responsibilities include:\n\n * Managing 8 monthly and 2 fortnightly payrolls\n\n * Processing new starters, leavers, and changes (salaries, overtime, bonuses, maternity, etc.)\n\n * Ensuring accurate RTI submissions, tax codes, and student loan updates via HMRC\n\n * Handling pension auto-enrolment, contributions, and provider uploads\n\n * Producing and sending online payslips\n\n * Running BACS payments\n\n * Uploading payroll journals to the accounting system (IFS)\n\n * Supporting reconciliations and reporting for finance teams\n\n * Managing benefit accounts (childcare vouchers, cycle schemes)\n\n * Liaising with HMRC for PAYE and arranging monthly payments\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\n * 5+ years’ payroll experience with a strong grasp of PAYE and auto-enrolment\n\n * Hands-on knowledge of payroll software\n\n * Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation\n\n * Confidence with Microsoft Excel\n\n * A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy\n\n * A proactive and professional attitude – you’ll be the go-to for ensuring the basics are done brilliantly\n\nWhy Join?\n\n * Immediate start in a well-established organisation\n\n * Be part of a pivotal period of change and innovation\n\n * A collaborative team and supportive office environment\n\n * Great experience with exposure to I-Trent implementation\n\nIf you’re a seasoned payroll professional ready to make a real impact, don’t wait – we want to hear from you.\n\nApply today or reach out directly if you know someone who fits the bill
