Our Audit team’s primary objective is to collaborate with Disney internal stakeholders to provide independent and objective compliance audits and consulting services that enhance future business and management decision making. As a Business Analyst, the successful postholder will be responsible for performing 10 to 15 licensee compliance audits for all Disney lines of businesses (Merchandise and Publishing) throughout Europe, alongside collaborating with Disney internal stakeholders to provide independent and objective compliance audits and consulting services that enhance future business and management decision making. Additional Responsibilities Include: Business Analysts work autonomously on site at Licensees’ offices to conduct contract compliance audits. This involves understanding systems and data flows as well as the critical product creation processes. Following this process, the Business Analyst will draft a report describing full assessment on the completeness of royalties due to Disney and an opinion on the level of compliance on other contractual matters. Business Analyst would need to identify revenue leaks in Disney and provide internal recommendations for administration and management of key licensees. Coordinate and supervise testing areas performed by external consultants in their projects. Coordinate and collaborate with the outsourced audit engagements by working with external audit partners to perform testing and make sure that fieldwork is executed appropriately. Assist in the negotiation of audit settlements with licensees Assist in the review of licensee compliance audits performed by 3rd parties. Training and coaching external consultants. Liaise with external consultants to provide accurate audit testing for each project they are involved. Collaborate with audit teams in other regions when required. Required Qualifications & Skills Level of experience and Qualifications Experience in a large public accounting firm or equivalent retail analytics, Internal Audit or similar work experience in Consumer Products or Media Optional: Hold ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification Skills Required Fluent English is essential and English writing skills must be excellent Other European Language (Spanish, Italian, French, German or Polish) Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Strong knowledge of complex internal controls and accounting systems and processes. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly understand business areas and evaluate issues and propose solutions. Able to build trust and confidence within the company and with third party licensees. Ambitious, articulate, mature and well organized. Able to work efficiently and independently with strong initiative.
