Role Summary We’re looking for a Master Production Planner to lead the planning and scheduling of all production, design, and detailing work. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the right resources. You’ll also help improve planning processes and support teams across the business in using planning tools effectively. Key Responsibilities Production & Portfolio Planning Create and manage the overall production plan, including current projects and future bids. Schedule work efficiently, adjusting for changes in demand, supply issues, or equipment problems. Plan ahead to make sure we have the right people, materials, and machines available. Work with production and other teams to align plans with business goals. Spot potential risks early and create backup plans to avoid delays. Reporting & Analysis Share clear and timely updates with teams and senior managers. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how well planning is working. Analyse data to find ways to improve efficiency and performance. Report on how forecasts compare to actual results. Skills & Experience 5 years of experience in production planning, ideally in manufacturing or project-based industries. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and resource planning. Skilled in Microsoft Project and familiar with ERP systems (Primavera P6 is a plus). Good problem-solving and communication skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and work well with different teams. Commercially aware and detail-oriented.
