Job Overview
This position is ideal for students seeking a well-paying summer job! It is a full-time, temporary summer role as a Production Associate, working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, providing three-day weekends. No experience? No problem! We offer supportive, hands-on training.
Pay starts at $20.00 per hour plus shift premiums, with higher pay for swing or weekend shifts or overtime. Currently, we are hiring for the Swing Shift (Monday - Thursday, 2:30 pm - 12:55 am). The starting pay is $20.00/hour + $1.00 shift premium, totaling $21.00/hour.
Role Highlights
* Sort, stack, and grade wood based on size and quality
* Operate chop saws and miter saws
* Collaborate with operators to troubleshoot mechanical or material issues
* Cross-train in multiple departments for variety
Candidate Requirements
* Ability to read and use a calibrated tape measure
* Assist in maintaining efficient assembly line operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus
* High school diploma preferred; must be 18+
