We are seeking a Finance Officer to join a fantastic charity business in Coventry. This organisation is recruiting a Finance Officer to manage the daily operations of its finance function while overseeing a small team. This is a hands-on role that combines routine financial tasks with providing analytical support, preparing reports, and assisting with audit processes alongside senior finance leadership.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
1. Own month-end close, journals, reconciliations & accurate reporting
2. Deliver monthly accounts with clear insights, variance analysis & trends
3. Oversee daily finance ops (payroll, VAT, income streams) & compliance
4. Lead budgeting & forecasting with stakeholders
5. Develop KPIs & financial insight to support decision-making
