An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with experience in the Construction Industry and QS skills to join a unique and evolving estate agency. This is a part-time role offering a salary of £2,500 - £3,000 per month (based on 2 consecutive weekdays per week, between Monday and Thursday inclusive), accommodation, ferry costs, and other benefits.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager (Senior Quantity Surveyor), you will oversee end-to-end project delivery across building and civil engineering works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.
Immediate Start
Candidates who can start immediately are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage budgets for construction and maintenance projects
2. Prepare estimates, quotes, and financial forecasts to support project prioritisation
3. Manage project planning sessions and define scope and deliverables
4. Lead on planning applications and negotiate with third-party bodies
5. Coordinate project delivery within agreed timelines and financial targets
6. Monitor progress and manage risks using standard project tools
7. Maintain digital records and project documentation
8. Produce regular project reports for stakeholders, outlining status and key updates
Candidate Requirements
1. Experience as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Manager, Commercial Lead, or similar role
2. Strong Quantity Surveying skills for costing and estimation of works
3. Proven experience managing construction and/or civil engineering projects
4. Leadership skills with the ability to oversee remote and on-site teams
5. Excellent organisational and project tracking skills, preferably with Microsoft Project
6. Familiarity with digital content or project management systems is a plus
