Responsibilities
* Meeting the needs of Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
* Planning team rotas and supporting the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments
* Assisting the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager with the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
* Carrying out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
* Supervising in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
* Welcoming a diverse culture within the home
* Creating a safe, family environment for the children
* Working 365 days a year, including Christmas, New Year and holidays, with shifts that may include long hours and sleep‑ins
Qualifications and Requirements
* Must be at least 21 years old due to Ofsted regulations
* Driving is essential owing to the location of the homes
* Minimum six months’ experience in children’s residential care
* Relevant Level 3 qualification in a health, social care or related field
* Enrolment in a workplace pension scheme after three months of employment
* Over‑time compensated at 1.25 times the standard rate
* Fully paid 10‑day induction course
* Enhanced DBS check paid for by the employer
* Eligibility for a refer‑a‑friend payment scheme
