*Full time - Registered Veterinary Nurse - Maternity cover 1 year. *Green Pastures Veterinary Centre – Weston-Super-Mare (South Bristol)We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly multi award winning independent small animal practice on a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You must be driven by clinical excellence and want to always deliver a gold standard of care.We are a large and busy 24hr First Opinion Practice with separate Canine and Feline facilities and a large surgical case load. We provide the Out Of Hours (OOH) service for 3 other practices and our nights are mainly covered by our dedicated night team, however all nurses are expected to partake in the OOH rota if required.Under the support of the Head Nurse and Deputy, we use our Nurses to their full potential undertaking Nursing consults, Nurse driven op days, Patient care, Dentistry, Imaging, including our new CT suit as well as regular social events outside of work. The candidate should be aware of the pressures within the working day.
