Communication Data Investigator (SPOC) – Police Investigation Unit Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Communication Data Investigator (SPOC) to support a UK Police Force in the lawful acquisition of communications data for criminal investigations. This role involves working with Communication Service Providers (CSPs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and Application Service Providers (ASPs) to gather intelligence and provide investigative support to law enforcement.

Rate: £32,247-£37,692 or if candidate didnt want permanent they will consider a day rate
Contract: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the lawful acquisition of communications data in criminal investigations.
Work closely with investigators, Senior Investigating Officers (SIOs), and other law enforcement partners to develop strategies for data acquisition.
Request, process, and assess communications data from CSPs, ISPs, and ASPs, ensuring compliance with RIPA, CPIA, DPA, and the Management of Police Information Act.
Support emergency response teams with 24/7 on-call support, advising on real-time data retrieval in critical situations, including threat-to-life and crime-in-action scenarios.
