Hi, I’m L, I’m 16 years old and I live with my mum and dad. Buttercups is my holiday home I share with my friends, and I love going there for sleepovers, I especially enjoy it more when my best friend A stays too.
Buttercups House is a state-of-the-art bungalow situated in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, purpose-built to meet the needs of young people with complex learning and physical disabilities requiring short break services. It welcomes up to 3 young people at a time, encouraging them to develop their skills. Children and young people can visit for overnight breaks, providing regular respite for families, with options for varying lengths of stay.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive, reliable individual with strong communication skills to work at our children and young people’s respite service.
The preferred qualification is HNC and SVQ3 in Childcare, but applications are welcome from those willing to work towards it.
