With a very settledmercial team, an exceptionalmercial director and well-respected operations team, this role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced residential Quantity Surveyor to join their business.Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in a range of housing projects from preconstruction stage all the way to handover. Frommercially managing your own projects to assisting themercial director in engaging and managing themercial team, this is a great opportunity for a senior quantity surveyor to accelerate their development.
What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate is a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with experience of delivering residential projects locally. Our clients is open to accepting applications from Quantity Surveyors seeking to accelerate their career to the next step professionally.
You will be highly organised and bring a strongmercial insight to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead themercial team to ensure all main contract obligations are fulfilled, including procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, and change control.
2. Produce and submit monthly cost reports, procurement strategy updates, and progress reports.
3. Develop and implement tender and delivery strategies.
4. Manage valuations to maintain positive project cash flow and agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
