Pastoral Support Assistant (KS2 & KS3) Location: Dorchester Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Start Date: After February half term Teaching Personnel are working closely with schools in Dorchester to recruit a dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant for a full-time position starting after February half term. This role will involve providing pastoral cover across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement with learning. The Role: Full-time pastoral support, Monday to Friday Working across KS2 and KS3 Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs Delivering 1:1 and small group pastoral interventions Promoting positive behaviour and attendance Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs and pastoral leads The Ideal Candidate: Previous pastoral experience is essential Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs Calm, resilient and nurturing approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Happy to commute to Dorchester DBS on the Update Service preferred, or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
