Deputy Home Manager - Children and Young People
Location: Weston, Spalding
Salary: From £31,636 per annum plus an additional £3,000 - £6,000 for sleep-ins (based on 4-8 per month)
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential
About the Role
I am recruiting on behalf of a respected provider of residential childcare services for children and young people. We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join a supportive, passionate, and forward-thinking team in Weston, Spalding.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or an existing Deputy Manager who is ready to take on greater responsibility and play a key leadership role within a nurturing, child-focused environment.
You will work as part of an experienced leadership team across a group of children's homes, supported by a well-established national organisation that values creativity, development, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
·Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
·Lead, motivate, and supervise a dedicated team of support staff, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
·Ensure safeguarding practices are consistently implemented and that the welfare of young people remains the top priority.
·Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and the implementation of individual care strategies.
·Manage rotas, budgets, and staffing levels effectively.
·Promote the organisation's therapeutic approach and contribute to continuous service improvement.
·Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Requirements
·Minimum 2 years' experience in a Residential Children's Home, ideally as a Senior or Deputy Manager.
·Level 3 or 4 NVQ/Diploma in Children and Young People.
·Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
·Experience managing budgets, staffing, and rotas.
·Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Hours
Full-time position, working long day shifts and participating in sleep-in duties.
