Main duties of the job
1. Assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion/education and public health school-age immunisation programmes.
2. Attend community-based vaccination sessions in schools and local settings. Work with the nursing team to ensure productive and safe sessions.
3. Promote and facilitate collaborative working between the team, schools, educational institutions, and families to deliver immunisation programmes. Focus on ensuring all consent forms are returned and contribute to achieving local area targets.
4. Ensure proper storage, transportation, collection, and delivery of vaccinations according to protocols.
5. Assist in identifying homeschooled children and children in Pupil Referral Units.
6. Maintain databases to keep records updated and prepare documents for school visits. Ensure online consent systems are triaged and completed before vaccination sessions.
7. Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure for School Immunisation (SOPs).
8. Serve as the first point of contact for administrative tasks, maintaining clear communication via face-to-face, phone, and email with children, parents, and school staff.
9. Responsible for maintaining the cold chain, ordering supplies, and arranging transportation of vaccinations to sites.
10. Contribute actively and constructively to team meetings.
11. Undertake other duties appropriate to the level of the position.
12. Comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
* GCSEs or equivalent with a minimum of grade C in English and Maths.
Experience

* Driving license (desirable).
* Strong organisational skills.
