Job overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Technical Officer to join our small, dedicated Mattress Decontamination Team. In this vital role, you will contribute to the high-quality service of transporting, cleaning, and re-processing pressure relieving and dynamic mattresses, ensuring they are available for wards and departments across the Trust in a timely manner. You will also handle other essential equipment for patient use.

Main duties of the job
* Provide a high-quality service for the transporting, cleaning, and re-processing of pressure relieving and dynamic mattresses across various wards and departments within the Trust.
* Re-process used equipment, ensuring it is sterilised, packaged and ready for timely delivery to the correct location.
* Ensure the safe, efficient and effective reprocessing and sterilisation of instrument procedure packs and equipment for use across the Trust’s wards, departments, theatres and partner organisations.
* Deliver equipment in the correct manner to the right place at the right time, maintaining high standards of quality control.

Qualifications
