About the Role
We are seeking a forward‑thinking Associate Professor in Children’s Nursing to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this academic portfolio at NTU
The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a new and innovative children’s nursing curricula across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will have a strong vision for contemporary research informed children’s nursing education that is centred on the needs of children, young people, and their families.
As a member of the senior leadership team in the Institute of Health and Allied Professions, you will also provide leadership across the nursing portfolio including line managing and mentoring academic staff across different fields of nursing. Your leadership will help drive excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment in nursing ensuring our graduates are fully prepared for professional practice in dynamic health and social care settings.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of scholarship, research‑informed teaching, and professional impact within children’s nursing. You will contribute to advancing the discipline through scholarly activity, publication, and the development of external partnerships. You will make a substantial and strategic contribution to shaping an ambitious and high quality learning experience for students across the nursing professions at NTU.
