Job Summary Manages and oversees the implementation and delivery of risk management and reporting services to support commissions. Provides leadership, assurance, and guidance to risk management teams within the assigned hub, ensuring compliance with Mace standards, client requirements, and relevant regulation, policy, and legislation. Key Job Responsibilities Accountable for risk management performance across assigned commissions and clusters. Designs and implements effective risk management frameworks and reporting strategies. Manages and directs clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on relevant risk management matters. Partners with clients to manage expectations and build strong professional relationships. Provides comprehensive advice to project teams on risk standards, processes, tools, and reporting to achieve key objectives. Facilitates and supports periodic risk reporting and structured governance meetings. Develops management strategies, plans, processes, and tools, tracking progress against KPIs. Works with Risk Service Directors and Project Managers to identify opportunities and mitigate risks/issues. Provides line management and mentorship to junior risk staff. Leads integration of risk management with other project disciplines. Supports hub leadership with resourcing and recruitment for assigned commissions. Works collaboratively to manage carbon risks and support net zero transition during delivery. You'll need to have Experience of effective leadership on complex construction projects. Experience of setting up effective risk management frameworks and assurance strategies. Knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and software (e.g., Active Risk Manager, @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis). Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of outcome or impact. Good understanding of construction projects, dependencies, and interfaces within the project lifecycle. Deep domain knowledge of providing risk leadership in sectors like rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals, etc. You'll also have Practical knowledge of risk reporting and analytics opportunities. Knowledge of tools like MS Excel, Power BI. Relevant industry experience and/or qualifications. Ability to create engaging presentations for diverse audiences. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Leadership qualities demonstrating curiosity, collaboration, and advocacy.
