The Role
As a Powertrain Validation Engineer, you will oversee validation and execution for automotive engine and BEV programs, ensuring all validation aspects are effectively managed. Your responsibilities include creating DVP and Test Cases, DVP assessment, development, and verification to sign-off.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop robust test plans (DVP) for system and component validation.
* Conduct quality control tests, analyze data, and understand variances.
* Test various rigs, including those for e-drive and ICE systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Support process quality planning and virtual/physical builds.
* Use advanced diagnostic tools and diagnose mechanical issues, proposing solutions.
Your Profile
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
* Strong technical background in engine engineering and quality tools.
* Experience with test rig setup, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
* Problem-solving skills using 8D methodology.
* Knowledge of calibration tools like INCA, Concerto, Puma, MDA.
* Understanding of automotive communication protocols.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
* Experience with MHEV/BEV systems architecture and testing.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
