Trainee Teaching Assistant – Graduate Role

Key Responsibilities:
Support students in the classroom on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
Assist with lesson activities, classroom tasks, and behaviour support.
Help pupils build confidence, develop positive learning habits, and stay engaged.
Work with teachers to adapt learning materials and differentiate work.
Build positive, professional relationships with students and staff.
Support emotional wellbeing and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Requirements:
A degree obtained within the last 3 years, with a minimum 2:2 classification.
A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
Strong communication skills and a positive, resilient attitude.
Ability to build rapport and work effectively as part of a school team.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
Full training is provided — no prior school experience needed.
