Position Details
Employment Type:Full-Time
Working Pattern:5 days per week
Shifts:Monday to Saturday (2 days off on a rotational basis)
Hours:Day shifts only no late evenings
About The Role
This is a hands-on position combining food preparation and customer service.
You will prepare fresh sandwiches and menu items in front of customers, delivering a high-quality experience while maintaining excellent hygiene and presentation standards.
Youll be both the face of the business and a key part of the kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other food items to order
Serve customers confidently and professionally at the counter
Create and contribute new sandwich ideas and daily/weekly specials
Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards (Level 3 Food Hygiene required)
Keep all preparation and service areas clean, tidy, and organised
Take responsibility for your section and support the smooth day-to-day running of the shop
Requirements
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
Experience in food preparation and kitchen environments
Strong cooking and food preparation skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Confident in a front-of-house role
Proactive, reliable, and eager to grow within the business
