We are seeking a semi-skilled CNC Machine Operator for a leading manufacturer in Birmingham. Our client specialises in manufacturing precious metals.
Responsibilities
* Operate CNC machines such as Fanuc and Mazak for milling and turning operations.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
* Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
* Adjust settings to optimise production output and quality.
* Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Plan and specify tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures, tool changes and amendments including offset adjustments.
* Produce components within drawing tolerances/limits.
* Use measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers to maintain precision.
Requirements
* Competently operating CNC, turners and milling machines.
* Minimum of 1 year's experience operating computerized machinery.
* Experience using a range of measuring tools and equipment.
* Computer literate and experience using Microsoft Office.
* Produce accurate high-quality components.
Shift Details
* Monday - Thursday: 06:45am - 15:50pm
* Friday: 06:45am - 12:30pm
