My client are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their Durham based team to drive CI and process optimisation for current product line and new product introductions. Responsibilities * Drive lean manufacturing principles including input into production Kaizen activities * Optimising manufacturing process, participating in RCA and corrective actions as required, and participating in process and equipment risk assessment reviews. * Ensure that tooling, gauging & quality requirements are considered early in the NPI process. * To assist in the preparation of production cost estimates and resource models. * Supplier auditing, support and development. * To plan, organise and control Engineering resources in order to meet manufacturing and project requirements. Requirements - HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering bias - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Comfortable working from technical engineering drawings - Familiarity with CAD
