Our client, an award-winning SAP partner, are now looking to expand their SAP business across the UK and Europe significantly. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated SAP PPQM Consultant to join their well-established RunSAP Logistics Team to assist in the support of BAU activities and SAP enhancements across multiple customers.
The client is a remote-first business; this role will require some client visits. Due to the nature of our client’s accounts, Security Clearance is required for this role, so it would be suitable for those able to obtain SC clearance. Applicants must be British Nationals with 5+ years consecutive residency in the UK.
This role requires a significant focus on Production Planning and Quality Management (PPQM) across multiple customers. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding around PPQM configuration, incident/problem management, and key operational procedures, supported by an evidenced history of supporting PPQM within SAP.
Additionally, you may have experience in related SAP logistics modules such as MM, WM, IM, or EWM. Experience with SAP Fiori, Signavio, or SolMan is an advantage.
What you will be doing
* Acting as the SME for SAP Production Planning & Quality Management (PPQM).
* Working closely with our varied customer base, providing expert advice and support on SAP configuration and business processes.
* Supporting and liaising with client teams to resolve incidents, analyse problems, and deliver enhancements in line with contractual obligations.
* Delivering excellent customer service by building strong working relationships with colleagues, as well as internal and external customers.
* Supporting delivery of customer change, including:
* Gathering and analysing requirements, defining and validating solutions.
* Translating requirements into estimates and functional specifications.
* Supporting SAP configuration, ABAP changes, and security requirements.
* Developing and executing test plans.
* Establishing cutover plans and providing knowledge transfer for ongoing support.
* From time to time, supporting short-term projects to deliver SAP change in PPQM and related areas.
We’re looking for people who have
* Extensive experience in an SAP PPQM Consultant role.
* Excellent knowledge and proven experience in customising and supporting SAP PPQM solutions.
* Strong understanding of production planning and quality management processes.
* Experience of incident and problem management, functional testing, system integration testing, and defect management.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage workload to meet challenging deadlines.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
* S/4HANA experience advantageous.
* Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g. MM, SD, EWM advantageous).
