With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services. We provide our business with more than 9,000 vehicles and over 25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.
Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.

As the Plant Fitter, you’ll get the opportunity to:
1. Carry out routine maintenance and service repair activities to our fleet of Plant vehicles & equipment
2. Faults diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical and electrical faults
3. Complete work via a PDA device to ensure daily electronic work records are up to date
4. Undertake minor and major repair works as directed
5. Communicate with the workshop team
6. Ensure that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions `Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality`(SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to. Adopting a safe method of working, logging and completing jobs on your electronic devices

14. Must have a ‘can do’ attitude; to be polite and courteous
15. Ideally have a basic level of numeracy and literacy and will undertake Functional Skills Level 1 as part of the apprenticeship programme. Which is equivalent to GCSE qualifications.
